THI maintains good quality
I am glad to read the report about government schools having time table on happiness portions
I am glad to read the report about government schools having time table on happiness portions (THI, May 9). I suggest the School Education Department to include 'empathy' as well which is very important.
Empathy helps us build better society. Another report 'Navy children schools excel in Board exams' is equally interesting. I congratulate teachers and students of Navy Children School for their excellent performance.
Mohan Kanda's column on skill development suggests the need for redesigning the curriculum in professional colleges, by including employability skills. The report on Indian being crushed to death in Kuwait on page 11 was saddening.
The victim Anand Ramachandran was overseeing the towing operation of Boeing 777 while he was crushed to death.
Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader K T Rama Rao urging Union Minister Sushma Swaraj to help a man from Karimnagar who got stuck in Abu Dhabi - on page 15 - shows how kind-hearted and committed the young leader is. I am sure Sushma will help him come to India.
