21 K Run marks birth anniv of Arjan Singh
The Air Force Station at Hakimpet was buzzing with activity on Sunday as a 21km Run was organised to mark the 100th birth anniversary of late Marshal of the Indian Air Force Arjan Singh.
Hakimpet: The Air Force Station at Hakimpet was buzzing with activity on Sunday as a 21km Run was organised to mark the 100th birth anniversary of late Marshal of the Indian Air Force Arjan Singh.
The run was flagged off by Air Commodore RK Obheroi, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Hakimpet. The aim of the event was to commemorate the accomplishments of the legendary officer and also encourage spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship amongst the personnel of Air Force station.
The Air Warriors of Air Force Station, Hakimpet, participated in the marathon with enthusiasm and pride. The winners were EMA(R) Sunil Kumar, AC Manoj Kumar and EAA(R) Om Prakash. The Air Officer Commanding gave away the prizes to felicitate Air Warriors.
