Book expo launched on Sundarayya's anniversary
Telangana BC Commission chairman BS Ramulu has said that the book is an item that shapes the life of a person. He spoke after inaugurating a book exhibition on Sunday organised to mark 34th anniversary of CPI (M) veteran P Sundarayya.

He released a book on selected writings of Jyothirao Phule, edited by GV Deshpande. The display of books on history, science, social topics, novels and works on Telangana writers will continue up to May 25 at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram.
Ramulu said it was necessary for youth to read books of Dr BR Ambedkar and Phule. He stressed the need for reading books to get rid of unscientific thinking like superstitions, vastu and astrology from society and advised parents to divert their children's attention towards literature.
