Forum Junior Chef Champ Season 3 is the signature event organised by the renowned Forum group. This is one of the biggest Junior Chef Championships held nationwide. The event is going to be held across 8 Forum malls in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mangaluru, Mysuru, Udaipur.

This year, 350 kids enrolled for the event and registrations are still open. The Junior Chefs will be judged on their culinary skills in the preliminary round.

The time given to showcase their skills is 45 minutes for the prelims and 90 minutes for the grand finale for children aged 7-11 year and 11-15. Judge Sanjay Thumma, popularly known as Vah- Chef is the founder of the cooking website Varevhah.com. He is popular among the expatriate communities in mainland Europe, Australia, and North America.

"We wanted to provide a kid's activity that is different from our regular activities," said Mangesh, the event manager. When asked about the main motive behind the programme, he said, "it is a life skill. Cooking can boost a child's self-confidence by giving them a sense of responsibility and there's the achievement of being able to enjoy the result with family and friends."

There is an increasing number of participants every year. Forum Junior Chef Season- 3 cooking is a competition where cooking is done on induction stoves. All ingredients along with the cutlery and spices are to be brought by the junior chefs. Only the induction stoves will be provided by the organizers.
