The GHMC contract worker in the Malaria Department (Entomology) of division 112, Vinod, 38, died on Monday morning after getting stuck in a sewage tank, while clearing the waste dumped during the Ganesh immersion.
Ramachandrapuram: The GHMC contract worker in the Malaria Department (Entomology) of division 112, Vinod, 38, died on Monday morning after getting stuck in a sewage tank, while clearing the waste dumped during the Ganesh immersion.
He drowned in the tank and died. Upon receiving the information, local Corporator Thonta Anjayya Yadav, along with his staff, rushed to the spot and helped in fishing out the body. He assured the bereaved family of justice after the department inquiry into the death.
