Nampally: Guest lecturers working in government degree colleges on Tuesday staged a demonstration at Telangana Public Service Commission (TPSC) office here demanding payment of pending salaries for 10 months.
The lecturers squatted in front of TPSC gate refusing to call off their protest pending a firm assurance on the government stand on the issue. They expressed anguish that they were finding it difficult to feed their families.
A lecturer, Srinivas, alleged that repeated visits to government offices were not yielding results. The Begumpet police arrested the protestors and shifted them to Nampally PS.
