Banjara Hills: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Mayor Bonthu Rammohan on Tuesday set an example of going out of the way and helping citizens in distress.
The incident happened when the Mayor and his team were on an inspection of damaged roads. They saw a car running into a deep pothole and getting stuck at Banjara Hills Road No. 45.
Without giving a second thought, the Mayor and his team promptly got down and helped the people trapped in the car to get out of it safely. The private taxi had got stuck in a damaged nala with three passengers inside the car at that time. The mayor helped the people get out of the car. The car was brought back on the road with the help of a JCB.
