MLA Mynampally Hanumantha Rao inspects Ganesh immersion arrangements
MLA Mynampally Hanumantha Rao, along with GHMC Deputy Commissioner Venugopal, local corporators, and officials of various government departments, inspected the arrangements at immersion tank arranged near Safilguda Lake.
Malkajgiri: MLA Mynampally Hanumantha Rao, along with GHMC Deputy Commissioner Venugopal, local corporators, and officials of various government departments, inspected the arrangements at immersion tank arranged near Safilguda Lake.
Speaking on the occasion, Hanumantha Rao urged the officials to ensure that the immersion programme is conducted peacefully without any untoward incident. He instructed the officials to clear garlands, leaves and other waste during the immersion at the ghat.
The MLA said that all the necessary arrangements have been made for smooth conduct of the programme. The immersion programme would continue up to next week, he said.
Two heavy cranes for idol immersion, drinking water facilities, parking facilities at the ghat, electric generators for uninterrupted power supply and medical facilities have been provided at the immersion tank, he said.
The MLA congratulated the officials of various government departments for making the arrangements. He hoped that the immersion program would be conducted peacefully with the cooperation of the people.
The officials of GHMC, Health, Electricity Departments, Corporator Jagadish Goud, former Corporator Prem Kumar, MRO Gita, local leaders Parthasarathi, Vijay Kumar, Ashok Reddy, Javed and others were present on the occasion.
