Habsiguda: MRPS leaders Medi Papaiah and Vangapally Srinivas demanded action against the officials concerned behind the removal of an Ambedkar statue near the Panjagutta circle.

They were participating in a review meeting with their party activists at Suprabath Hotel in Habsiguda on Tuesday. They expressed their anger over the throwing of the legendary leader's statue in a dumping yard.

They criticized the government for taking action against GHMC workers instead of the officials concerned. They also demanded a new statue installed at the same place and threatened to stage protests if their demand was not conceded.
