Swachh awareness conducted

Kapra: An awareness programme on cleanliness and plastic prevention was held in front of Telangana Stupam here on Thursday. Sarpanch Madhuri Venkatesh called upon every household to plant two saplings and also take responsibility of taking care of the planted saplings.

She also explained the hazardous effects of plastic usage. She warned shopkeepers that fines would be levied if they use plastic. Upa sarpanch Kandadi Balamani, ward members, residents and others were present.
