Uprooted tree blocking road in Dilshuknagar

Dilsukhnagar: Rains and gusty winds have brought more misery than relief to the city, with uprooted trees blocking arterial roads and snapping electric wires in parts of the city, including Vikas Nagar and Dilsukhnagar.

The residents here were heavily inconvenienced with the roadblocks. "Last night due to the gusty winds, a tree fell and snapped a few electric wires and cables. We informed the officials about the same, but till now no action has been taken.

The road adjoins the main road and is used by many people. Due to this, they have to take a long detour, which is taking more time than usual," a resident of Vikas Nagar said.
