Students demand college in new building
Urdu Junior College students and parents staged a protest here on Thursday, demanding that the government shift the college located near Kabela to the newly constructed building premises.
Vijayawada: Urdu Junior College students and parents staged a protest here on Thursday, demanding that the government shift the college located near Kabela to the newly constructed building premises.
They alleged that local MLA and Minister for Endowments Vellampalli Srinivas is trying to allot the building constructed for Urdu College to the Gurukul School.
For the past two days, the students are staging protest in front of the college demanding that the government officials respond on this issue and shift the Urdu College into a new building premises, appoint faculty and provide all facilities to the students.
They alleged that the minister was intentionally delaying the issue without giving appointment to the Muslim leaders to sort out the issue. Parents also demanded that Minister for Education respond on this matter and do justice to the students.
