The programme is open to all the faculty members of AICTE approved institutions in the country
Visakhapatnam: Computer Science Department, GITAM Deemed to be University, in association with the AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy is organising an online faculty development programme (FDP) on Data Sciences from January 4 to 8.
The five-day-long online training programme is open to all the faculty members of AICTE approved institutions in the country, informed programme coordinator K Vedavathi here on Saturday.
Further she said the five-day FDP is consisting of 15 sessions, covering varied subjects such as machine learning topology, big data, data visualisation tools, business intelligence, data mining, probability and statistical analysis, mathematical foundations of data science with introduction to data science and applications. Resource persons from reputed industries and academic institutions will interact with the participants during the virtual session.
ATAL Academy is an AICTE initiative to plan and help impart quality technical education in the country and to support technical institutions in fostering research, innovation and entrepreneurship through training in various emerging areas. Those who are willing to participate in the FDP are requested to register themselves by visiting https://atalacademy.aicte-india.org/signup on or before December 27.
No registration fee will be charged for participation. An online test will be conducted at the end of the programme. Participants with minimum 80 per cent attendance and scored minimum 60 per cent marks in the test, will receive certificates.
