Warangal: Errabelli slams Bandi Sanjay
Not to meddle with the Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb culture in Hyderabad, Minister for Panchayat Raj Errabelli Dayakar Rao told the BJP State president Bandi Sanjay.
Warangal: Not to meddle with the Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb culture in Hyderabad, Minister for Panchayat Raj Errabelli Dayakar Rao told the BJP State president Bandi Sanjay. Speaking to media persons here on Friday, the Minister came down heavily on Sanjay, accusing him of instigating people in Hyderabad on communal lines.
"Sanjay who is a first-timer as the MP and the BJP's State President appears to have lost conviction. As a result, he is trying to malign the image of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao," Errabelli said. Sanjay may be of the opinion that he can raise his stature by criticising KCR, but it won't happen. If he continues like this, people will revolt against him, he added.
"KCR is not an ordinary leader. KCR gallantly fought for separate Telangana. On the other hand, Sanjay had no connection with the statehood movement, he added.
Questioning the contribution of Sanjay to the State, the Minister told him to fight with the Central government for Telangana's share in Krishna and Godavari rivers. He also demanded Sanjay to convince the Centre in getting funds for Mission Kakatiya, Mission Bhagiratha and Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project (KLIP).
Instead of attacking KCR aimlessly, the BJP should respond to the farmers' ongoing agitation against the three farm laws in Delhi, Errabelli said.
Referring to the success of the saffron party in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), Errabelli attributed it to weakening of Congress in the State and the divisive tactics of the BJP. He also played down the BJP's criticism about the early elections to the GHMC. All the issues pertaining to Dharani portal will be resolved within a week. The feedback from people to the new Revenue Act is encouraging, the Minister said.
