CM Kiran says sorry to women ministers. According to reports, Kiran spoke to Geetha Reddy, DK Aruna and Sunitha Lakshma Reddy over the phone and said sorry to them.
There was widespread controversy over Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy's alleged failure to intervene when woman ministers from his state were being manhandled in Delhi. Several women ministers had alleged that the CM did not make an attempt to stop the attack.It is a known fact Geetha Reddy got emotional and broke down when the CM's security men pushed the Telangana Congress leaders when they sat before the bus in which the CM was to leave for Jantar Mantar to sit on a dharna travelling.
Geetha Reddy also took up the issue with President Pranab Mukherjee. Geetha Reddy narrated to the President the unfortunate incident that took place at the AP Bhavan in the nation's capital.
After much hue and cry and receiving flak from the Telangana leaders, Chief Minister Kiran finally gave in and sought an apology from the women ministers who were hurt with his attitude.
According to reports, Kiran spoke to Geetha Reddy, DK Aruna and Sunitha Lakshma Reddy over the phone and said sorry to them.
