The cine actor T Gopichand said that he was very proud to be the son of legendary director T Krishna, at the 30th death anniversary meeting held at CVN reading room in Ongole by Krishna Memorial Cultural Society and Andhra Pradesh Praja Natyamandali.

Gopichand said, “It is not easy to remember a man even after 30 years of his death. It is the love of the people towards my father and I am grateful to you all. I am very proud to be the son of Krishna and try to live up to the expectations of his fans.”
The ZP Chairman Edara Haribabu and Praja Natyamandali state honorary president Nalluri Venkateswarlu praised the director and his services to the downtrodden. After the meeting, Gopichand distributed scholarships of Rs 10000 each to 20 students, who were meritorious in quiz, group dance and singing competitions.
