Reviewing the progress of the works with the officials at Collectorate here on Friday, he said that it was decided to arrange for a green channel for emergency services and for the movement of VIPs to avoid traffic problems.

As many as eight places were identified for parking and the road has been widened to 80 feet to reach the exhibition area at the beach. A special website was launched for the beach festival and underlined the need to give publicity on beach festival.

About 30 sanitation workers were allotted to take care of sanitation in the beach. Flower expo, dog show, aquarium etc were also part of the beach festival.

District Panchayat officer Kumar, information department deputy director M Francis, tourism department regional director M Bhimashankar Rao, Rajamahendravaram Sub-Collector CM Saikanth Varma, District Revenue Officer K Nageswara Rao, Deputy Superintendent of Police Ravi Varma and other officials were present.
