EO Yarra Venkateswara Rao further informed that this Vaikuntha Ekadasi is also known as the Mukkoti Ekadasi, a very auspicious day for all the Vaishnavite temples. He also said that due to this propitious day, special Puja and Archana would be performed to the Lord Jaganmohini Kesava Swamy who dwells in the temple.
“It is the only temple in South India where the idol of the Jaganmohini Kesava Swamy looks like a male form in the front and it looks like a female form on the back of the Idol,” he added.
