DIET 1990-91 batch holds alumni meet
Alumni meet of the Eluru DIET batch 1990-91 was organised at the old DIET Center in Kota Dibba here on Sunday. The alumni meet was organised to mark the completion of the 25 years of training at the centre.

The former students of the DIET felicitated ABG Deekshitulu, a retired professor and the former lecturer of the DIET centre.
R Ravi Kumar, B V Rao, VH Prakash, K Venkanna, Sk Kareemulla and Sk Khadeer organised the meeting of old students. They recollected old memories of their student life and shared their experiences in the gathering.
The alumni had lunch with the family members who came from various coastal districts of the state. Of the total 113 students who had been trained as teachers in 1990-91 batch, about 80 students attended the alumni meeting at the DIET Centre, which is now a hostel for the differently-abled children.
