Glowing tributes to Sri Krishnadevaraya
The 547th birth anniversary of Sri Krishnadevaraya was organised by Sri Krishnadevaraya Kalapeetham here on Friday. Retired SP and Kapunadu district President Singuluri Shesagiri Rao, participating as the chief guest, said Sri Krishnadevaraya’s rule was an ideal for the present politicians.
Vijayawada: The 547th birth anniversary of Sri Krishnadevaraya was organised by Sri Krishnadevaraya Kalapeetham here on Friday. Retired SP and Kapunadu district President Singuluri Shesagiri Rao, participating as the chief guest, said Sri Krishnadevaraya’s rule was an ideal for the present politicians.
Under his rule, the people lived happily with peace of mind beyond the differences of caste and religion. He said besides a good ruler, he was good at literature and had penned Amukta Malyada which was honoured by literates all over the country.
Honorary guest and Balija JAC president Samatam Ramu said that Sri Krishnadevaraya was known for his good governance. Kapunadu state president M Venkata Rao, legal cell state president Y Srinivas Rao, Kalapeetam president D Srinivas Babu, secretary K Ramesh and others were present. A cake was cut on the occasion.
