G Satyanarayana, manager of Andhra Pradesh Society for Training and Employment Promotion in Prakasam district said that youth play an important role in the controlling of child marriages, child trafficking and protection of child rights.

M Anand, state programme officer for Girls Advocacy Alliance said youth should also have social responsibility and work for the protection of child rights. He asked the youth groups to organise awareness programmes from the village-level on child marriages and child trafficking. The HELP programme officer, BV Sagar said that if the government, NGOs, youth groups and public work together in coordination, great results can be achieved easily.

NVS Murthy, community mobilizer K Sulochana, Childline representatives D Devakumari, P Anjaneyulu, M Muralikrishna, representatives from the Mother Teresa, Nethaji, Viveka, Abhyudaya youth groups participated in the programme.
