Kanna meets Governor

Kanna Meets Governor, Present Political Situation in the State. Congress leaders feel that the meeting might have taken place to work out a strategy to ensure that the special session of the State Assembly was conducted in a smooth manner.
Hyderabad: Minister for Agriculture Kanna Lakshminarayana called on Governor ESL Narsimhan on Saturday. The Minister was with the Governor for about 30 minutes. On record, Kanna said that he had discussed the present political situation in the state with the Governor. He said, "It is just a routine meeting. I regularly meet the Governor every month. No political issues figured in the meeting." But the meeting fuelled speculations of impending political changes in the state ahead of the President sending the T-Bill to the state Assembly.
Congress leaders feel that the meeting might have taken place to work out a strategy to ensure that the special session of the State Assembly was conducted in a smooth manner.
Apart from Lakshminarayana, PCC chief Botcha Satyanarayana, Ministers Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and Dokka Manikya Vara Prasada Rao are among those who had met the Governor in the past few days.
