Hyderabad: “If one’s health is good everything else can be taken care of. Our aim has always been to serve the people by providing them medical assistance and cure their illness for life at a very nominal rate”, said Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swamy at the first anniversary celebrations of the Jeeyar Integrative Medical Services (JIMS) at Sriramnagar, Shamshabad, on Friday.

‘JIMS provides a unique treatment which amused doctors from different countries. It is an extraordinary opportunity for people. I appreciate the doctors, vedapathashala students, and others who are involved in the activity’, said Dr Geeta Reddy.

About 10,000 people will benefit from the camp. About 200 doctors 300 medical associates 500 NCC cadets from the Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts will participate. More than 2,000 people attended the camp. On the final day close to 5,000 are expected.

The camp was inaugurated in the presence of JIMS patrons, Rameshwar Rao, chairman, My Home Group and Jagapathi Rao, managing director. Scientific and corporate firms and educational institutions are funding the hospital.

The 21 patrons and sponsors including owners of colleges, head honchos, businessmen, and doctors contributed Rs 1crore each to the camp.

All forms of medicine are good; but, it is very rare to find one such place which offers you the three kinds of treatment. As we see a lot of success we are planning to start a medical college next year, said Pavuluri Krishna Chowdary, homeopathy expert.

Dr Reetha Krishnan, superintendent of JIMS, said its graph was up in terms of people’s belief and the number of patients. ‘When the hospital was established we observed only 500 patients a month, but now the number has gone up four-fold. In the last one year we saw around 40,000 patients’.
