Chandrababu convinces JC's rivals, entry confirmed?

All set for senior Congress leader and MLA JC Diwakar Reddy and his brother Prabhakar Reddy to switch their loyalties to the Telugu Desam Party shortly.

This piece of news appeared in all the media channels ever since the CWC announced its decision to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh and JC's remarks against Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

In a latest development, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu held a special meeting with the leaders of Tadipatri to discuss welcoming the brothers into the party.

It is a known fact that Paritala Sunitha, the survivor of slain Ravi is objecting JC's brothers' entry into the TDP. She even opnely declared that she cannot tolerate being in the same party with a person who was instrumental in the death of many.

Sometime back, Sunitha's supporters had put up some flexi banners denouncing both JC brothers, calling them criminals. To pave a smooth way for JC brothers' entry into TDP, Chandrababu Naidu it seems took upon the big task of convincing Paritala Sunitha and other political rivals of JC.

Sources in the TDP say that Sunitha was moved by Chandrababu's requests. With Sunitha's green signal, there will be no obstructions to JC brothers joining the TDP.

It was first speculated that JC brothers would join YSRCP when Diwakar praised Jagan and criticized Chandrababu saying he is using two eye theory on Samaikyandhra movement. But JC received a shock when TDP in-charge of Tadipatri Assembly segment Peram Nagi Reddy suddenly joined YSR Congress in the presence of Y.S. Jagan at Idupulapaya in Kadapa district. Jagan is believed to have assured that he would field Peram Nagi Reddy's daughter-in-law P. Sarojamma from Tadipatri in the coming polls.

With Congress having little or no scope in the Seemandhra region and YSRCP's MLA ticket already booked, JC seems to have opted for TDP and Chandrababu had offered JC Diwakar Reddy group MLA and MP seats.

Prabhakar Reddy had said that he has decided to contest in the upcoming Parliamentary elections from the Anantapuram Parliamentary constituency, even if it is as an independent candidate.

During today's meeting with the TDP leaders of Tadipatri, Chandrababu reportedly told them that he is not ready to give Ananthapuram Lok Sabha seat to JC Prabhakar Reddy. Now it is remains to be seen when will the JC brothers join TDP.

JC: Congress will plunge to abyssal depths

JC Diwakar Reddy reiterated that he will not continue in the Congress party and will soon reveal which party he will be joining.

He, however, hinted that he may join Kiran's new party by praising Kiran saying his efforts to stall the bifurcation process will be ever remembered.

"I had told six months back itself that state will be bifurcated. The land will cave in and the Congress will plunge to abysmal depths," he said.

He maintained that there was no need for postponing the Assembly elections in the state. He also opined that Macherla will be a better choice for new capital.
