Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy, the name is enough to make one sit up and take notice. He was a people's leader who offered a lot of sops to the poor. YSR introduced several welfare schemes for the benefit of poor during his regime. He was killed in a plane crash after his copter went missing at Nallamalla forest. His death left a void in the hearts of his supporters.
Today happens to be his birth anniversary, his family members offered floral tribute to his resting place at Idupalapaya in Kadapa.
Among those who visited the samadhi include his wife, YS Vijayamma, son YS Jagan, daughter-in-law Bharathi, daughter YS Sharmila and his grandchildren.
