Jagan consoles kin of building collapse victims, YSRCP chief Jaganmohan Reddy has assured that his party would provide compensation to the victims of building collapse in Chennai.
Vizianagaram: YSRCP chief Jaganmohan Reddy has assured that his party would provide compensation to the victims of building collapse in Chennai.
Jaganmohan Reddy who is on a two-day visit to the district, called on the 15 bereaved families of Chennai building collapse at Thurumamidi and Peddagyrisila villages of Makkuva mandal in Saluru Assembly constituency and Dalaipeta, Matalingi villages of Komarada mandal in Kurupam Assembly constituency in the district on Wednesday. Jagan assured the victims that his party would provide financial aid and would fight a legal battle against the builder. Jagan entrusted the task to Bobbili MLA Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao.
Saluru MLA P Rajanna Dora, Kurupam MLA Pushpa Srivani accompanied Jagan. Meanwhile Rural Development Minister Kimidi Mrunalini alleged that Jagan consoled the victims 15 days after the incident to gain political mileage. She participated in various development programmes at Cheepurpalli on Wednesday.
