Actor Siivaji fast unto death for AP special status

Actor Sivaji has begun an indefinite fast demanding for Andhra Pradesh Special Status in front of the Collector’s office on Sunday. Earlier, the actor had taken up several demonstrations over the issue in Vijayawada and Rajahmundry.

Sivaji’s fast gathered significant response as Aam Aadmi Party leaders, Dalit and Tribal Organizations along with former APCOB chairman Vasantha Nageswara Rao extended their support as the actor launched the fast. The actor demanded that the Centre concede the Special Status for AP and called upon people to launch protests gearing up to an agitation.
