AP Finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu has put forward a straight question to actor and Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan over acquiring lands for the AP capital.
On Wednesday afternoon, Pawan opposed the AP Government's move to use the Land Acquisition Act against farmers who are not willing to surrender their lands for capital construction.
He took to twitter and requested the AP CM not to go ahead with the Land Acquisition Act.
Responding to Pawan's tweets, Yanamala asked Pawan to explain how the lands should be acquired from the farmers. "Pawan is opposing the land acquisition to acquire lands from the farmers for the construction of the capital. It would be better if he tells how to get the land from the farmers," he asked.
Yanamala recalled that the film industry in Hyderabad developed as the Government allotted land for it. "To develop any region, lands are very essential. It is impossible to stop acquiring the lands which are located in the middle of the capital," the finance minister asserted.
