An army jawan from in Vizianagaram, Botha Satyam, was killed when he was attacked by militants in Jammu & Kashmir.
According to reports, Botha Satyam received a shot injury in a gunfight with the militants at a forest in Handwara in Kupwara district. He is survived by his wife and two children.
Satyam, a native of Golladi village, joined the army 13 years ago and was stationed in J&K. His wife, Srivani was informed about his death and his body is likely to reach Bobbili in two days. Satyam married Srivani from Yerukula in 2005.
