The leaders said that the State government was now actively considering the issue and seeking legal opinions.
“There are some legal complications to the issue since it has disturb the existing reservations structure and the government is treading carefully,” the BJP leaders asserted. They further wanted the Kapu leaders not to make provocative statements and instigate violence in the State.
The BJP leaders cautioned the Kapu leaders against giving scope for the anti-social elements into the movement and indulge in violence. They reiterating the commitment to extend reservations to the Kapus, the BJP leaders pointed out that the government would resolve the issue in a phased manner. The BJP leaders asserted that the party would justify the demand and support their claim for the reservations to the Kapu community.
