According to the ACB officials, Venkatrao who has been working in the post of assistant engineer for a while now allegedly possessed properties worth Rs 5 crore. A three bedroom in Machavaram, another three bed room flat at Gollapudi, two plots in townships in Vijayawada and four-acre land at Dosapadu are his assets.
Vijayawada: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths on Wednesday raided the house of TRANSCO Assistant Engineer B Venkatrao at Machavaram here. The officials discovered unaccounted assets, which included a house, land, two four wheeler vehicles among others.
According to the ACB officials, Venkatrao who has been working in the post of assistant engineer for a while now allegedly possessed properties worth Rs 5 crore. A three bedroom in Machavaram, another three bed room flat at Gollapudi, two plots in townships in Vijayawada and four-acre land at Dosapadu are his assets.
The value of the properties is nearly Rs 1.4 crore. Two gear motor bikes and a swift car along with Bolero were also seized by the officials.
