Jagan exempted from appearing before special CBI court
Justice Raja Elango of the High Court at Hyderabad on Thursday granted exemption to YSRCP leader YS Jagan from appearing before the special CBI court till the end of June 2016.
Justice Raja Elango of the High Court at Hyderabad on Thursday granted exemption to YSRCP leader YS Jagan from appearing before the special CBI court till the end of June 2016. It is the case of the petitioner that the case is being listed every Friday and consequently he is required to be present at the court every week. The petitioner plead that this seriously hampering his work as a political leader in meeting with his party workers, supporters and other people .With the CBI seeking time to file its response the judge granted interim relief to the petitioner. The judge also granted exemption to Punith Dalmia MD of Dalmia Cements and Pratap Reddy of Penna Cements from the weekly appearances before the special court in the connected cases.
