EPDCL completes 62 sub-stations in record time

Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited (APEPDCL) has completed the construction of 62 33/11 KV sub-stations during 2015-16 fiscal in a record time in its jurisdiction of north coastal Andhra, East and West Godavari districts, said Chairman and Managing Director Revu Mutyala Raju.
Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited (APEPDCL) has completed the construction of 62 33/11 KV sub-stations during 2015-16 fiscal in a record time in its jurisdiction of north coastal Andhra, East and West Godavari districts, said Chairman and Managing Director Revu Mutyala Raju.
Most of the sub-stations were built in Vizag, Rajahmahendravaram and Jangareddygudem due to heavy consumption of power. The CMD said these new sub-stations will prevent power break downs, power cuts, power fluctuations, DTR failures and transmission losses and ensure quality and uninterrupted power supply to consumers.
