MLC vows to resolve teachers issues
MLC Ramu Suryarao assured the teachers on Friday that he would try to implement the unified service system to resolve their problems. He visited the class X spot valuation centre at Xavier Nagar here on Friday. The teachers appealed to him to request the government to hike the remuneration payable to teachers evaluating answer scripts from present Rs 6.50 to Rs 8 per paper.

The teachers appealed to him to request the government to hike the remuneration payable to teachers evaluating answer scripts from present Rs 6.50 to Rs 8 per paper.
The teachers voiced their ordeal of falling sick as the evaluation centres are located in sheds. The women teachers requested the MLC to ensure that evaluation centres have toilets. Responding positively to teachers’ appeals, he said he would exert pressure on the government to get their issues resolved.
He also vowed to take up their issues in the Legislative Council and also place a requisition before Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. District Education Officer Madhusudana Rao was also present.
