They came down heavily on the BJP government criticising that it cheated Andhra Pradesh by keeping the AP people in the dark on Special Status. They alleged that the Telugu Desam Party was not withdrawing from the NDA because some MPs would lose the portfolios in the Central Cabinet. The YSRCP leaders vowed to continue fight till the State gets Special Status as promised by Congress and BJP before bifurcation of the State.
Special Status is right of AP: YSRCP
Ongole: The YSRCP leaders in Prakasam district staged a protest in front of Collectorate on Tuesday, demanding the Central government to announce Special Status for Andhra Pradesh. The Chief Minister is busy touring in countries like America and Singapore, but the day is approaching fast to demand an explanation from him on the Special Status. The Congress is expressing sorry for its action and introduced a private bill demanding the Special Status.
