Two die as lorry hits bike

Two persons died on the spot after a lorry hit a two-wheeler near Koyyalagudem village in the district on Sunday evening. The deceased have been identified as Gottumukkala Subbaraju (40), a lorry owner and Koppaka Sattibabu (32), a welder of Devarapalli village.
Eluru: Two persons died on the spot after a lorry hit a two-wheeler near Koyyalagudem village in the district on Sunday evening. The deceased have been identified as Gottumukkala Subbaraju (40), a lorry owner and Koppaka Sattibabu (32), a welder of Devarapalli village.
The mishap occurred while they were returning to their village after visiting Gubbala Mangamma temple in Buttayagudem Agency Mandal. While Subbaraju has left behind the wife and two children, Sattibabu is survived by the wife and two children. The bodies have been sent to Jangareddigudem hospital for autopsy. Koyyalagudem police registered a case and took up an investigation. The driver of the lorry is
absconding.
