MP MLAs open Smart City office

Kakinada: On the occasion of the first anniversary of declaration of Kakinada as smart city, Kakinada MP Thota Venkata Narasimham, MLA V Venkateswara Rao and Rural MLA Pilli Anantalakshmi participated in various activities in the city on Saturday.

They took part the solar power installation at Municipal Corporation office. Later, they declared open the smart city office and planted a sapling to mark the occasion.

They also distributed push carts to the vendors as part of provision of employment to street vendors.
The three representatives also attended the video conference addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Pune and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu from Visakhapatnam.
