Vizianagaram: Union Minister for Civil Aviation P Ashok Gajapathi Raju has appealed to people to take care of orphans, students and elders.
On his 66th birthday, he visited school established for deaf and dumb in Vizianagaram and interacted with them on Sunday. His wife Suneela Gajapathi Raju accompanied him. Later, he distributed books and stationery to the students and expressed happiness over their progress in studies. Later, he visited Premasamajam and talked to senior citizens at the center. He also visited Maharajah College and planted a sapling there. He laid foundation stone for a new building.
Minister for Housing and Rural Development K Mrinalini, Collector MM Nayak, ZP Chairperson Swathi Rani, MLAs Sujay Krishna Rangarao, Dr KA Naidu and others participated in the programme and greeted him on his birthday.
