Srisailam Project: Atmakur Divisional Superintendent of Police (DSP) Supraja said all steps have been taken for the smooth conduct of
Krishna Pushkaralu. She said that special attention is being laid on tight security for devotees during the ensuing Krishna pushakaralu,
Addressing the media at II Town Police Station Outpost in Srisailam on Sunday, she instructed lodge and hotel owners to install CC
Cameras. She warned of stern action if liquor was allowed in the lodges and shops remained open after 10 pm.

The DSP also directed lodge owners to collect ID proof of visiting pilgrims. She said that lodge owners should collect complete details of
people staying there. The DSP asked lodge owners to pass on any information about suspicious persons to police and cautioned them to
serve quality food to customers at reasonable rates.

The DSP said that daily check of vehicles was being done keeping in view the pushkaralu. Check centres have been set up at Biodiversity
and RTA checkposts. She said already cordon search operations had been conducted. About 700 volunteers were being appointed as part
of the security. Special forces with cameras and dog squads would be deployed for daily watch near the pushakar ghats, as directed by
SP Ravi Krishna to make the event successful.

Circle Inspector Vijay Krishna and Sub-Inspectors Obulesu and Praveen Kumar Reddy were present.
