‘Msme Parks in every Assembly constituency’
The government is planning to set up one Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Park in every Assembly constituency in 100
Anantapur: The government is planning to set up one Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Park in every Assembly constituency in 100
acres, according to District in-charge Collector B Lakshmikantham. Addressing the Industries Promotion Committee meeting here on
Wednesday, he said that each Assembly constituency will have an MSME Park in 80 to 100 acres of land which the APIIC would acquire
and develop infrastructure.
In-charge Collector called upon the prospective entrepreneurs to come forward to set up their own ventures for which the government
would provide support, including loans, subsidies and incentives. He said that Rs 3.62 crore has been released in the form of incentives
and subsidies for 37 new industrial ventures. Lakshmikantham also sanctioned 21 new projects and power cost reimbursement for three
industries. MSME executive director Rajendra said that the prospective industrialists should be able to prepare their own project reports
for their new ventures.
