Kalyana Rao, Virasam leader said, “As the attacks, murders and rapes by the Armed Forces from the Central and State governments are increased on the tribals, a Fact Finding Committee with the members of Telangana Prajaswamika Vedika, CRPP, KNPS, Tudum Debba started from Hyderabad to find facts and reality at the ground level.

They were arrested by the Telangana police at Dummu Gudem in Khammam district on December 25 handed over to police of Kunta in Chhattisgarh and shifted them to Sukma jail by filing fake complaints.

With these arrests, the Central, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh governments are confirming that they are working for the capitalist forces.

They are trying to loot the natural resources by forcefully evicting the tribals and dalits by committing heinous crimes on them. We demand the governments of Telangana and Chhattisgarh release the leaders of tribal and public organisations immediately without any conditions and books cases against the police and leaders who encouraged them to resort to anti-public activities and prosecute them.”

Chavali Sudhakar Rao of OPDR demanded that the courts should intervene and order the governments to restrain from taking decisions against the interests of the common public.

Duddu Venkat Rao of KNPS said that the governments are working against the interests of their own public and demanding us believe what they had told.

He said that the police department is trying to defame the members of women and people’s organisations by portraying them as members of Maoist organisations.
