Recalling how the Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) was defeated and mega star Chiranjeevi was misguided by a group of people, Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan said Jana Sena was established after learning lessons from the Praja Rajyam failures and added that the victory of the party would be an answer to those who destroyed the PRP from behind the scenes.
Visakhapatnam: Recalling how the Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) was defeated and mega star Chiranjeevi was misguided by a group of people, Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan said Jana Sena was established after learning lessons from the Praja Rajyam failures and added that the victory of the party would be an answer to those who destroyed the PRP from behind the scenes.
He addressed the meeting of party cadres from three north Andhra districts here on Wednesday. Pawan Kalyan alleged that some people with vested interests had “killed” the Praja Rajyam Party. “I know the people who actively worked for PRP failure. I will teach a lesson to them by bringing the JSP into the power. In other words, the JSP has emerged from the failures of the PRP,” he said.
After the vanishing of the PRP, Pawan Kalyan said that he asked God to give a chance to build a healthy society and He gave thousands of committed workers. Assuring the party members that he would never repeat the mistakes of PRP, he called upon the cadre to work with sincerity to bring a change in the society and do not expect party tickets.
When the fans asked him to comment on Nara Lokesh being made minister, Pawan Kalyan said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu might have recognised some strengths and offered ministerial berth to his son in his Cabinet. “Some people are telling me that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is using my glamour and charisma. I know everything.
However, I also need some support while growing in politics. But, we will also have our day in future,” he said. He alleged that there were several allegations on Polavaram project and he would reveal them in a right time.
Pawan announced that the party would start training programmes to the cadre from January. Stating that every worker should work for the society expecting anything, he said over 50,000 youth applied for party membership, but only 20,000 were selected initially.
