Visakhapatnam: Resident Medical Officer (RMO) of AS Raja Voluntary Blood Bank Dr Radha Rani said that one unit of blood donated by the one person can save three lives. Radha Rani was the chief guest at a blood donation camp organised at Skill Development Institute located at Arilova on Friday.

The RMO informed that a healthy person aged between 18 and 60 years can donate blood every three months which is mostly used for pregnant cases, emergency surgeries, cancer treatments.

Skill Development Institute in-charge CVN Das called upon the youth to come forward to donate blood which is not only regenerates fresh blood but also gives satisfaction. As many as 86 trainees and faculty of the institute donated bold voluntarily at the special camp.
