In a major development, the government accorded HoD status to the Visakhapatnam Police Commissionerate. With this, the Visakhapatnam Police Commissionerate can directly write to the government for funds.
Visakhapatnam: In a major development, the government accorded HoD status to the Visakhapatnam Police Commissionerate. With this, the Visakhapatnam Police Commissionerate can directly write to the government for funds. In turn, the government will release the funds directly to the account of the Commissionerate. All these years, transactions were being done through the Director General of Police (DGP) office only.Confirming about the HoD status to the Commissionerate, Commissioner of Police T Yoganand said that it is only for financial transactions.
