The PACE Institute of Technology and Sciences organised a one-day workshop on Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) for the third and final year students from IT and ECE branches on Tuesday.

Ongole: The PACE Institute of Technology and Sciences organised a one-day workshop on Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) for the third and final year students from IT and ECE branches on Tuesday.

Senior facility technologist and industry outreach officer at the Center for Nano Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Sciences in Bengaluru A Peter Manoj participated in the workshop as the resource person.

He said that the Internet of Things had brought tremendous changes in the daily life and was bringing in the industrial employment also.

The college secretary and correspondent Maddisetty Sridhar said that the IOT had influenced the researches in medical and military fields and was helping in many innovations. He asked the students and the teachers to utilise the workshops well.

The college principal, M Srinivasan, director of planning and development Dr Sukumar Puhan, HoD of CSE department Dr T Ramachaitanya, coordinator Sriharsha and other staff and students also participated in the workshop.
