CITU leaders give up hunger strike
Tirupati CITU leaders have withdrawn the relay hunger strike as the Chittoor joint collector 2 Chandramouli took up initiative in the issue on Sunday evening
Tirupati: Tirupati CITU leaders have withdrawn the relay hunger strike as the Chittoor joint collector 2 Chandramouli took up initiative in the issue on Sunday evening. For the past 5 days CITU leaders Lakshmi, Rajani, Sundaram, Subramanyam along with the children of deceased employees of the Ruia Raghavulu, Kondai have been on the relay hunger strike in front of Ruia Hospital.
They have been demanding jobs for the kin of deceased employees on compassionate grounds. CITU district secretary Kandarapu Murali brought the issue to the notice of District Collector PS Pradyumna. Joint Collector -2 Chandramouli has come to Tirupati and assured the relatives of the deceased employees and handed over the confirmation orders regarding their appointment in Ruia Hospital.
