Vijayawada: Assembly Deputy Speaker Dr Mandali Buddha Prasad launched Digital Android Dictionary App in three different languages on the premises of Cultural Centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati here on Wednesday.
The programme was organised by Andhra Pradesh Creativity and Culture Commission.
Speaking on the occasion, Buddha Prasad said that such efforts would enhance the life of the languages which creates interest among the youngsters to take up such innovative ideas.
He appreciated the app developer Dr Peddi Sambasiva Rao with the technical support of V Phani Kumar.
The speaker launched books viz., Sanskrit - Telugu, English - Telugu and Hindi dictionaries. Dr E Sivanagi Reddy, CEO, CCVA presided over the meeting.
Vishnuvardhan, CEO, NTR Trust, Dr Peddi Rama Rao, Member, AP Planning Commissioner, Golla Narayana Rao, Venna Vallabha Rao, Dupati Vijay Kumar, Emesco publishers, Manohar Naidu of Visalandra Publishing House, Dr TS Reddy of Photo India and Suman from Department of Language and Culture participated in the programme.
