In a major reshuffle, the state government has transferred three IPS officers from their existing positions and appointed new officials in the district
Rajamahendravaram: In a major reshuffle, the state government has transferred three IPS officers from their existing positions and appointed new officials in the district.
As part of it, Dr Shemushi Bajpayee has been appointed as Superintendent of Police of Rajamahendravaram urban police district, who was waiting for posting.
The incumbent B Raja Kumari transferred to Vijayawada as Deputy Commissioner (crime).
The government appointed Rahul Dev Singh as Assistant Superintendent of Police for Rampachodavaram in the place of Ajitha Vejendla who was posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police (South Zone) in Rajamahendravaram Urban Police District.
Rahul Dev Singh and Ajitha Vegendla are husband and wife.
The Urban SP Dr Shemushi Bajpayee belongs to 2016 IPS batch, hails from Ahmedabad of Uttar Pradesh state.
After completion of training, she was posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police in Adoni and later worked as Additional Superintendent of Police in Krishna district.
Later, she worked as Deputy Commissioner of Police in Visakhapatnam in the year 2013. In the year 2014, she worked as Superintendent of Police in Medak District.
In the year 2015, she worked as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Balanagar and later worked as Superintendent of Police (railways) in Vijayawada.
Rahul Dev Singh belongs to Chattisgarh. The Central government shifted Singh to Andhra Pradesh cadre and who was waiting for posting.
It was the first posting for him in Andhra Pradesh.
Ajitha Vejendla and Rahul Dev Singh belongs to 2015 IPS batch.
She was posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police in Rampachodavaram eight months ago.
