Kakinada: The 98th birth anniversary of Komanduri Sathagopalacharyulu, founder of Gandhi Bhavan was organised at Gandhi Bhavan premises on Sunday.
Paying rich tributes to late Komanduri, East Godavari Rice Millers Association president Ambati Ramakrishna Reddy appreciated the services of the great personality to society in general and to Gandhi Bhavan in particular.
Komanduri took a lot of interest in collecting information, books and other articles on Father of the Nation to keep in Gandhi Bhavan as his memorial, Ramakrishna Reddy said.
President of Gandhi Bhavan Sabbella Gangi Reddy explained about various aspects of Gandhi Bhavan and efforts in making it as memorial.
Special lunch was provided to the inmates of adjacent Maharshi Sambamurty School for differently-abled children by Gandhi Bhavan committee.
