Kakinada: The East Godavari police are extending helping hand to flood-affected people in four agency mandals of Chintur, Kunavaram, VR Puram and Yetapaka.
The police on Tuesday helped the people of interior areas in reaching to safari places and to relief camps. Basing on the need they used rope in moving the people to safer places.
Chintur sub-division police officer (SDPO) Dilip Kiran led the relief operations in these mandals with his men.
District Superintendent of Police Vishal Gunni complemented the service of the staff and officers in the department in these areas for their dedicated service.
